Tot Tours
For families with kids 5 and under.
DATE: Wed, Fri, Sat mornings at 10:30 from Memorial Day through Thanksgiving
LOCATION: Apple Hill Farm | Banner Elk, NC 28604
PRICE: Adults ages 11 and up: $17. Children 4 to 10: $12. Infants 3 and under: $3.
Please bring no more than 2 adults per family group! This tour is for the little ones and we want to welcome as many kiddos as possible.
Join us for this hands-on tour designed for kids 5 and under!
We know that a 60 minute tour with lots of information can be overwhelming for small children, so we designed an all new tour. Our Tot Tours are about 30 minutes long and include age appropriate information and interactions with the animals. This tour just circles the orchard, so no worries about climbing the big hill or watching your child around the safety fences at the top of the property!
Meet the pigs, pet the donkeys, feel the alpaca fiber, and love on the goats. Finish up the animal portion of the tour in our outdoor classroom and enjoy matching activities, sensory bins, and more!
The Farm Store is open during Tot Tours, but the tour is not guided through the store like our regular tours. Please let your your guide know if you’d like to go shop!
